This blog will explore the every-day learning that most people, sooner or later, have to do. If you’ve ever had to mentor a team member at work or learn new software, Relay can help you do this in the most effective way possible.
I’m writing Relay because I’ve noticed that people are generally eager to learn, but they don’t really understand the process of learning. Most attempts to build new skills are labor-intensive and disjointed. I want to change how people approach learning so they can accomplish their goals with less stress and wasted effort.
I’m Jovana (pronounced YO-vah-nah) and I am an instructional designer and communication coach based in Los Angeles.

As an instructional designer, I take confusing, scattered, or overwhelming information and to turn that into something a person can actually use. Whether it’s helping a sales person learn a new product or teaching a new manager how to give feedback, it’s my job to help them do their job.
When I am not working on Relay, I like to paint along to Bob Ross and cook along to Gordon Ramsey. I have recently taken up archery and try to attend brarchery (that’s brunch + archery) once a week near Rancho Park in Los Angeles.
